Throttle Body: Removal: Removal

DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
WARNING:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT . Refer to REPLACEMENT - Step 4
REMOVE V-BANK COVER

1. Remove the 2 nuts.
2. Remove the 2 clips and cover.
REMOVE NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET
1. Remove the bolt and air cleaner inlet.
REMOVE INTAKE AIR CONNECTOR PIPE

1. Disconnect the air hose and No. 1 ventilation hose.
2. Loosen the 2 hose clamps and bolt, and remove the intake air connector.

REMOVE THROTTLE BODY
1. Disconnect the connector.
2. Disconnect the ventilation hose.
3. Disconnect the 2 water by-pass hoses.
4. Remove the 2 bolts, 2 nuts, throttle body and gasket.
