Precaution (To 10/2008)

NOTE:
  • Initialize the following systems after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
    System Name See procedure
    Power Window Control System Refer to INITIALIZATION
    Front Power Seat Control System Refer to INITIALIZATION
  • Perform the RESET MEMORY (A/T initialization) operation after replacing the automatic transmission assembly, engine assembly or ECM.
  • Perform Registration (VIN registration) when replacing the ECM. Refer to REGISTRATION .

HINT: 

RESET MEMORY cannot be completed by only disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
