Ignition Coil And Spark Plug: Removal: Removal

  1. DISCONNECT BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL 
  2. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 4
  3. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 1
  4. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER RH  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 3
  5. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 2
  6. DISCONNECT NO. 2 VENTILATION HOSE 
    1. Disconnect the ventilation hose from the cylinder head.

  7. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 6
  8. REMOVE INTAKE AIR SURGE TANK ASSEMBLY  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 20
  9. REMOVE IGNITION COIL ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the 6 ignition coil connectors.
    2. Remove the 6 bolts and the 6 ignition coil assemblies.

  10. REMOVE SPARK PLUG 
    1. Remove the 6 spark plugs.
