Brake Actuator: Removal: Removal
- DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
- REMOVE FRONT WHEEL
- DRAIN BRAKE FLUID NOTE:
If brake fluid leaks onto any painted surface, wash or remove it completely.
- REMOVE BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER SUB-ASSEMBLY
HINT:
Refer to the instructions for Removal of the brake master cylinder sub-assembly. Refer to REMOVAL .
- REMOVE BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET
- Release the lock lever and disconnect the brake actuator connector.
- Using a union nut wrench, disconnect the 6 brake lines from the brake actuator assembly with bracket.
- Use tags or make a memo to identify the places to reconnect.
HINT:
- *1: To Front Wheel Cylinder RH
- *2: To Front Wheel Cylinder LH
- *3: To Rear Wheel Cylinder RH
- *4: To Rear Wheel Cylinder LH
- *5: From 1st of master cylinder
- *6: From 2nd of master cylinder
- Remove the vacuum hose and clip from the check valve.
- Remove the No. 1 front brake line and No. 1 rear brake line from the clamp.NOTE:
Do not damage the brake lines and clamp.
- Remove the 2 bolts, nut and brake actuator assembly with bracket from the body.
- Remove the brake actuator assembly with bracket.

- REMOVE BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY
- Remove the 3 bolts and brake actuator assembly.
- REMOVE BRAKE ACTUATOR BRACKET ASSEMBLY
- Remove the 3 brake actuator bolt colors and 3 brake actuator bolt case cushions from the brake actuator bracket assembly.
