Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor: Removal: Removal

  1. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 2
  2. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 3
  3. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY  See step  4
  4. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER 
  5. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT  . Refer to REPLACEMENT - Step 3
  6. REMOVE E.F.I. ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR 
    1. Disconnect the E.F.I. engine coolant temperature sensor connector.

    2. Remove the E.F.I. engine coolant temperature sensor.
    3. Remove the gasket from the engine coolant temperature sensor.
