Camshaft Position Sensor: Removal: Removal

  1. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 2
  2. REMOVE CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR 
    1. Disconnect the camshaft position sensor connector.

    2. Remove the bolt and camshaft position sensor.
  3. REMOVE VVT SENSOR (for Bank 1) 
    1. Separate the 3 wire harness clamps.

    2. Disconnect the VVT sensor connectors.

    3. Remove the 2 bolts and 2 VVT sensors.
  4. REMOVE VVT SENSOR (for Bank 2) 
    1. Separate the wire harness clamp.

    2. Disconnect the VVT sensor connectors.

    3. Remove the 2 bolts and 2 VVT sensors.
