Camshaft Timing Control Motor: Removal: Removal

REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY See step 3
REMOVE AIR CLEANER INLET COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY See step 4
REMOVE NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET See step 5
REMOVE INTAKE AIR CONNECTOR PIPE See step 8
REMOVE CAMSHAFT TIMING CONTROL WITH EDU MOTOR ASSEMBLY RH
1. Disconnect the 2 camshaft timing control with EDU motor connectors.

2. Remove the bolt and engine wire bracket.
3. Remove the 3 bolts and camshaft timing control with EDU motor.

  NOTE: Do not allow foreign matter to contact the oil seal face of the camshaft timing control with EDU motor (connecting surface with timing chain cover).
4. Remove the O-ring from the timing chain cover.

1. Disconnect the 2 camshaft timing control with EDU motor connectors and engine wire clamp.

2. Remove the 3 bolts and camshaft timing control with EDU motor.

  NOTE: Do not allow foreign matter to contact the oil seal face of the camshaft timing control with EDU motor (connecting surface with timing chain cover).
3. Remove the O-ring from the timing chain cover.
