Removal [09/2023 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE FRONT FENDER SEAL LH (w/ Front Suspension Member Brace) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  2. REMOVE FRONT FENDER SEAL RH (w/ Front Suspension Member Brace) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  3. REMOVE FRONT SUSPENSION MEMBER BRACE SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Front Suspension Member Brace) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 16

  4. REMOVE FRONT SUSPENSION MEMBER BRACE SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Front Suspension Member Brace) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 17

  5. REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 18

  6. REMOVE AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR (for Bank 1) 
    1. Disconnect the air fuel ratio sensor connector.

    2. Detach the wire harness 2 clamps.
    3. Using SST, remove the air fuel ratio sensor from the exhaust manifold sub-assembly LH.
      • SST: 09224-00012 
      NOTE:

      If the air fuel ratio sensor has been struck or dropped, replace it.

  7. REMOVE REAR LOWER ARM MOUNTING REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY RH 
    1. Remove the 4 bolts and rear lower arm mounting reinforcement sub-assembly RH.

  8. REMOVE ENGINE SIDE COVER RH 
    1. Remove the 4 clips and clamp from the engine side cover RH.

  9. REMOVE AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR (for Bank 2) 
    1. Disconnect the air fuel ratio sensor connector.

    2. Detach the wire harness clamp.
    3. Using SST, remove the air fuel ratio sensor from the exhaust manifold sub-assembly RH.
      • SST: 09224-00012 
      NOTE:

      If the air fuel ratio sensor has been struck or dropped, replace it.
