Removal [12/2017 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11 [12/2017 - 09/2018] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11 [09/2018 - 10/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11 [10/2020 - 10/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11 [10/2022 - 10/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11 [10/2023 - ]

  2. REMOVE RADIATOR COVER PLATE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9 [12/2017 - 09/2018] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9 [09/2018 - 10/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9 [10/2020 - 10/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9 [10/2022 - 10/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9 [10/2023 - ]

  3. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8 [12/2017 - 09/2018] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8 [09/2018 - 10/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8 [10/2020 - 10/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8 [10/2022 - 10/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8 [10/2023 - ]

  4. REMOVE LOWER RADIATOR AIR DEFLECTOR 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10 [12/2017 - 09/2018] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10 [09/2018 - 10/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10 [10/2020 - 10/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10 [10/2022 - 10/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10 [10/2023 - ]

  5. REMOVE ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR 
    1. Disconnect the engine coolant temperature sensor connector.

    2. Remove the clip and engine coolant temperature sensor from the water inlet assembly.

      NOTE:

      If the engine coolant temperature sensor has been struck or dropped, replace it.

    3. Remove the gasket from the engine coolant temperature sensor.
  6. REMOVE E.F.I. ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR 
    1. for Front:
      1. Disconnect the E.F.I. engine coolant temperature sensor connector.

      2. Using SST, remove the E.F.I. engine coolant temperature sensor.

        • SST: 09817-33191 
        NOTE:

        If the E.F.I. engine coolant temperature sensor has been struck or dropped, replace it.

      3. Remove the gasket from the E.F.I. engine coolant temperature sensor.
    2. for Rear:
      1. Remove the cowl top ventilator louver sub-assembly.

        Refer to REMOVAL [12/2017 - 10/2020] , or refer to REMOVAL [10/2020 - ]

      2. Disconnect the E.F.I. engine coolant temperature sensor connector.

      3. Using SST, remove the E.F.I. engine coolant temperature sensor.

        • SST: 09817-33191 
        NOTE:

        If the E.F.I. engine coolant temperature sensor has been struck or dropped, replace it.

      4. Remove the gasket from the E.F.I. engine coolant temperature sensor.
