Installation [09/2014 - ]: Procedure

INSTALL SPARK PLUG
HINT:

Perform "Inspection After Repair" after replacing a spark plug.

Refer to INITIALIZATION [09/2014 - ]
1. Install the 8 spark plugs to the cylinder head sub-assembly and cylinder head LH.
  Torque: 21 N.m (214 kgf/cm, 15 ft.lbf)
  
  NOTE:
  If a spark plug has been struck or dropped, replace it.
  
  HINT:
  
  Install the same parts to their original positions.
INSTALL IGNITION COIL ASSEMBLY
HINT:

Perform "Inspection After Repair" after replacing an ignition coil assembly.

Refer to INITIALIZATION [09/2014 - ]
1. Install the 8 ignition coil assemblies to the cylinder head cover sub-assembly and cylinder head cover sub-assembly LH with the 8 bolts.
  Torque: 10 N.m (102 kgf/cm, 7 ft.lbf)
  
  NOTE:
  If an ignition coil assembly has been struck or dropped, replace it.
  
  HINT:
  
  Install the same parts to their original positions.
2. Connect the 8 ignition coil assembly connectors.
INSTALL NO. 3 ENGINE ROOM RELAY BLOCK ASSEMBLY
1. Install the wire harness clamp bracket with the bolt.
  Torque: 8.5 N.m (87 kgf/cm, 75 in.lbf)
2. Install the No. 3 engine room relay block assembly with the bolt and nut.
  Torque: 8.0 N.m (82 kgf/cm, 71 in.lbf)
INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE ROOM RELAY BLOCK AND NO. 1 JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY
1. Install the wire harness clamp bracket with the bolt.
  Torque: 8.0 N.m (82 kgf/cm, 71 in.lbf)
2. Engage the wire harness clamp.
3. Install the No. 1 engine room relay block and No. 1 junction block assembly with the 2 bolts and nut.
  Torque: 8.0 N.m (82 kgf/cm, 71 in.lbf)
INSTALL BATTERY TRAY
1. Install the battery tray with the 2 bolts.
  Torque: 5.4 N.m (55 kgf/cm, 48 in.lbf)
INSTALL POWER STEERING ECU ASSEMBLY

INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 96 [09/2014 - 05/2018] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 97 [05/2018 - 03/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 96 [03/2019 - ]
CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

PERFORM INITIALIZATION
1. Perform "Inspection After Repair" after replacing an ignition coil assembly and spark plug.
