Single Switches

NOTE: In wiring diagram, single switch connectors are labeled as C600, C601, C709, C711, C809, and C811. In single switch test, switch terminals are referred to as connector C1 and C2. Identification has been changed for test references only.
  1. Remove switch from door. Each single switch contains a relay. To test switch, power and ground must be applied to switch relay. Using jumper wires, apply battery voltage to switch terminal C1-2 and ground to terminal C2-1. See Fig 1 .
  2. Check continuity between indicated terminals with switch in appropriate position. See SINGLE SWITCH TESTING  table. See Fig 1 . Replace switch if it does not test as specified.
