Test K: Window Lock-Out Feature Does Not Operate Properly
NOTE:
Right rear window control switch harness connector C809, left rear window control switch harness connector C711 and right front window control switch harness connector C600 are flat 4-pin connector.
- Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Ensure window lock-out switch is not engaged (switch is up). Activate each passenger's door window switch. Engage window lock-out switch (switch is down). Activate each passenger's door window switch. If window lock-out feature does not operate properly, go to next step. If window lock-out feature operates properly, system is okay at this time.
- Disconnect Driver's Door Module (DDM) harness connector C523. Measure voltage at terminal No. 10 (Red/Light Blue wire) at DDM harness connector C523. See Figure . If battery voltage exists, go to next step. If battery voltage does not exist, repair open in Red/Light Blue wire.
- Disconnect left rear window control switch harness connector C711. Measure voltage at terminal No. 10 (Red/Light Blue wire) at DDM harness connector C523. If battery voltage exists, go to next step. If battery voltage does not exist, replace left rear window control switch.
- Disconnect right rear window control switch harness connector C809. Measure voltage at terminal No. 10 (Red/Light Blue wire) at DDM harness connector C523. If battery voltage exists, go to next step. If battery voltage does not exist, replace right rear window control switch.
- Disconnect right front window control switch harness connector C600. Measure voltage at terminal No. 10 (Red/Light Blue wire) at DDM harness connector C523. If battery voltage exists, replace driver's door module. If battery voltage does not exist, replace right front window control switch.
