Trouble Shooting

Verify customer concern by operating windows to duplicate condition. Visually inspect the following components. If inspection reveals an obvious concern which can be easily serviced, correct malfunction before continuing inspection and verification. If no problems are found, go to SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM  .

Mechanical

• Window alignment.
• Window mounting (regulator and bracket).
• Window frame interference.
• Window run weatherstrip.

Electrical

• Blown fuse(s).
• Damaged wiring harness.
• Loose or corroded connections.
• Damaged switches.
• Damaged window motor.
• Damaged Driver's Door Module (DDM).
• Damaged Front Electronic Module (FEM).
• Damaged Rear Electronic Module (REM).
