Using Keyless Entry Keypad

Remote Anti-Theft Personality (RAP) module enable/disable mode allows autolock feature to be turned on or off. To enter programming mode, perform the following steps within 30 seconds:

• Close all doors.
• Ensure ignition is off.
• Turn ignition switch from OFF to RUN position.
• Press power door lock switch UNLOCK button 3 times.
• Turn ignition switch from RUN to OFF position.
• Press power door lock switch UNLOCK button 3 times.
• Turn ignition switch from OFF to RUN position.
• RAP module should chirp horn indicating RAP module is in enable/disable mode and ready to accept program changes.

To enable/disable AUTOLOCK, press power door lock switch UNLOCK button once to select AUTOLOCK programming mode. To change current state of autolock, press power door lock switch to LOCK. RAP module will chirp horn once to indicate autolock has been disabled or chirp horn once followed by a long horn blast to indicate autolock has been enabled.

To enable/disable PERSONALITY, press power door lock switch UNLOCK button twice to select PERSONALITY programming mode. To change current state of personality, press power door lock switch to LOCK. RAP module will chirp horn once to indicate personality has been disabled or chirp horn once followed by a long horn blast to indicate personality has been enabled.

To end programming mode, turn ignition off. RAP module should chirp once to verify a feature change.
