Park System: Removal

NOTE: For internal park mechanism service, refer to MANUAL CONTROL LEVER SHAFT AND SEAL in this article.

Remove the extension housing (7A039) and the extension housing gasket; refer to EXTENSION HOUSING SEAL AND BUSHING in this article.
Remove the parking rod guide plate.
1. Remove the bolts.
2. Remove the parking rod guide plate.

Remove the park pawl shaft.
1. Remove the park pawl return spring.
2. Remove the park pawl.
3. Remove the park pawl shaft.
