1. Remove the upper intake manifold. For additional information, refer to UPPER INTAKE MANIFOLD .
2. Remove the components in the order indicated in the following illustration.
3. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Item 16: Fuel Hose Spring Lock Coupling Removal Note 

1. Install the special tool.

2. Press the special tool into the open end of the cage.

3. Separate the coupling.

Item 17: Lower Intake Manifold Bolts Installation Note 

1. Hand-start all fasteners.
2. Torque all fasteners in the sequence shown in the illustration to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).
