Reverse Servo Assembly

NOTE: Inspect the reverse servo piston seal for damage. If damaged, a new piston and seal assembly will need to be installed.
  1. Disassemble the components in the order indicated in the following illustration.
  2. To assemble, reverse the disassembly procedure.

Item 4: Reverse Servo Plate Disassembly Note 

    WARNING: The upper and lower servo covers are under spring tension. Use care when separating the two halves. Failure to follow these instructions may result in personal injury.
    NOTE: Tabs on servo plate mate with slots on cover every 120 degrees.
  1. Remove the reverse servo plate by turning in either direction to release.
    • Align the arrow on the servo plate with any slot on the cover.

Item 7: Reverse Servo Piston O-Ring Assembly Note 

    NOTE: Try not to roll the seal onto the housing when installing the seal or damage to the seal can occur.

  1. Lubricate and install a new reverse servo piston seal.

Item 4: Reverse Servo Plate Assembly Note 

    WARNING: The upper and lower servo covers are under spring tension. Use care when separating the two halves. Failure to follow these instructions may result in personal injury.
    CAUTION: The arrow on the servo plate must be aligned evenly between any two slots on the cover.

  1. Install the reverse servo plate.
