Valve Cover RH: Notes

MATERIALS

Item Specification
Silicone Gasket and Sealant F7AZ-19554-EA WSE-M4G323-A4
Metal Surface Cleaner F4AZ-19A536-RA WSE-M5B392-A
  1. Drain the cooling system. For additional information, refer to ENGINE COOLING .
  2. Remove the air cleaner assembly. For additional information, refer to INTAKE AIR, FUEL CHARGING, AND ENGINE ELECTRONICS .
  3. Remove the heated PCV valve. For additional information, refer to POSITIVE CRANKCASE VENTILATION (PCV) VALVE .
  4. Remove the RH ignition coils. For additional information, refer to INTAKE AIR, FUEL CHARGING, AND ENGINE ELECTRONICS .
    CAUTION: Do not use metal scrapers, wire brushes, power abrasive discs or other abrasive means to clean sealing surfaces. These tools cause scratches and gouges which make leak paths.
  5. Remove the parts in the order indicated in the following illustration and table.

  6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
