Removal and Installation

CAUTION: The adjustable pedal system must be indexed whenever the brake pedal assembly or the accelerator pedal bracket is serviced.

NOTE: Adjustable accelerator pedal bracket shown, adjustable with memory accelerator pedal bracket similar.

Remove the accelerator pedal. For additional information, refer to ACCELERATOR PEDAL .
Disconnect the accelerator pedal bracket electrical connector.

Disconnect the accelerator pedal bracket drive cable from the brake pedal drive.

Remove the accelerator pedal bracket retaining nuts.

Remove the accelerator pedal bracket.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
Index the pedal assemblies, Refer to HYDRAULIC BRAKE ACTUATION .
