In-Vehicle Repair: Flexplate: Installation

NOTE: The crankshaft dowel must be positioned below the outer face of the flexplate.

Install the flexplate with the elongated hole over the crankshaft dowel.
Install the 8 flexplate bolts and tighten in 2 stages in the sequence shown.
- Stage 1: Tighten to 15 Nm (11 lb-ft).
- Stage 2: Tighten to 110 Nm (81 lb-ft).
