Removal and Installation

    All pedals 

  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to BATTERY MOUNTING AND CABLES .
  2. Disconnect the accelerator pedal electrical connector.
  3. Remove the accelerator pedal wiring harness retainer from the accelerator pedal bracket bolt.
  4. Remove the accelerator pedal wiring harness pin-type retainer from the accelerator pedal bracket.

    5. Adjustable pedal 

  5. Disconnect the accelerator drive cable from the accelerator pedal.

    6. All pedals 

  6. Remove the 3 accelerator pedal retaining nuts.
    • To install, tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).
  7. Remove the accelerator pedal.
  8. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

    9. Adjustable pedal
