SMART JUNCTION BOX (SJB) DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) LIST

DTC Description Action
B106E Solid State Driver Disabled Due to Short Circuit The module has temporarily disabled an output because an excessive current draw exists (such as a short to ground). The Smart Junction Box (SJB) cannot enable the output until the cause of the short is corrected. ADDRESS all other DTCs first  . After the cause of the concern is corrected, CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test.
B106F Module Disabled Due to External Fault The module has permanently disabled an output because an excessive current draw fault (such as a short to ground) has exceeded the limits that the SJB can withstand. The cause of the excessive current draw MUST be corrected before a new SJB is installed. ADDRESS all other DTCs first  . After the cause of the concern is corrected, INSTALL a new SJB. REFER to MULTIFUNCTION ELECTRONIC MODULES . TEST the system for normal operation.

B1485 Brake Pedal Input Short to Battery GO to PINPOINT TEST M .
B1510 Flash To Pass Switch Circuit Short to Ground GO to PINPOINT TEST F .

B1696 Autolamp On Circuit Short To Ground GO to PINPOINT TEST J .
B1791 Autolamp Sensor Input Circuit Open GO to PINPOINT TEST J .

B2008 Wipers On Signal Circuit Short to Ground GO to PINPOINT TEST J .
B2044 Left Rear Stop Lamp Circuit Short to Ground GO to PINPOINT TEST L .

B2498 Headlamp Switch Multiple Signals Input Active GO to PINPOINT TEST E .
B2A22 Headlamp Off Circuit Open ADDRESS any other DTCs first. GO to PINPOINT TEST E .
B2A23 High Beam Input Circuit Short to Ground GO to PINPOINT TEST F .
B2A24 Turn Signal Input Circuit Failure ADDRESS any other DTCs first. If no other DTCs are present, GO to SYMPTOM CHART in Turn Signal and Hazard Lamps.
B2A27 Right Front Turn Lamp Circuit Open GO to PINPOINT TEST P .
B2A28 Right Front Turn Lamp Circuit Short to Ground GO to PINPOINT TEST P .
B2A29 Left Front Turn Lamp Circuit Open GO to PINPOINT TEST P .
B2A2A Left Front Turn Lamp Circuit Short to Ground GO to PINPOINT TEST P .
B2A2B Left Corner Lamp Output Circuit Short to Ground DIAGNOSE all other DTCs and symptoms first. If no other DTCs or symptoms are present, INSPECT the SJB and C2280F for bent pins, loose or corroded connections. If no concerns are found, INSTALL a new SJB. REFER to MULTIFUNCTION ELECTRONIC MODULES . TEST the system for normal operation.
B2A2C Right Corner Lamp Output Circuit Short to Ground DIAGNOSE all other DTCs and symptoms first. If no other DTCs or symptoms are present, INSPECT the SJB and C2280F for bent pins, loose or corroded connections. If no concerns are found, INSTALL a new SJB. REFER to MULTIFUNCTION ELECTRONIC MODULES . TEST the system for normal operation.
B2A2E Right Front Lamp Low Beam Circuit Open If the low beam is inoperative, GO to PINPOINT TEST C . If the low beam is always on, GO to PINPOINT TEST E .
B2A2F Right Front Lamp Low Beam Circuit Short to Ground GO to PINPOINT TEST C .
B2A30 Left Front Lamp Low Beam Circuit Open If the low beam is inoperative, GO to PINPOINT TEST C . If the low beam is always on, GO to PINPOINT TEST E .
B2A31 Left Front Lamp Low Beam Circuit Short to Ground GO to PINPOINT TEST C .
All other DTCs - REFER to the Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Chart in MULTIFUNCTION ELECTRONIC MODULES .

B103C:11 Left Headlamp Control: Circuit Short To Ground GO to PINPOINT TEST AK .
B103C:15 Left Headlamp Control: Circuit Short To Battery or Open GO to PINPOINT TEST AK .
B103C:49 Left Headlamp Control: Internal Electronic Failure DIAGNOSE all other DTCs first. If no other DTCs are present, INSTALL a new Headlamp Control Module (HCM). REFER to HEADLAMP CONTROL MODULE (HCM) . CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test.
B103C:98 Left Headlamp Control: Component or System Over Temperature INSTALL a new LH headlamp assembly. REFER to HEADLAMP ASSEMBLY . CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test.
B103D:11 Right Headlamp Control: Circuit Short To Ground GO to PINPOINT TEST AL .
B103D:15 Right Headlamp Control: Circuit Short To Battery or Open GO to PINPOINT TEST AL .
B103D:49 Right Headlamp Control: Internal Electronic Failure DIAGNOSE all other DTCs first. If no other DTCs are present, INSTALL a new HCM. REFER to HEADLAMP CONTROL MODULE (HCM) . CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test.
B103D:98 Right Headlamp Control: Component or System Over Temperature INSTALL a new RH headlamp assembly. REFER to HEADLAMP ASSEMBLY . CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test.
U0100:00 Lost Communication With ECM/PCM "A": No Sub Type Information GO to PINPOINT TEST AH .
U0121:00 Lost Communication With Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) Control Module: No Sub Type Information GO to PINPOINT TEST AI .
U0155:00 Lost Communication With Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) Control Module: No Sub Type Information GO to PINPOINT TEST AJ .
U0401:00 Invalid Data Received from ECM/PCM A: No Sub Type Information DTC U0401:00 is set when a module receives invalid network data from another module with a faulted input. RETRIEVE and REPAIR all non-network DTCs in the other modules on the network. REFER to MULTIFUNCTION ELECTRONIC MODULES .
U0415:00 Invalid Data Received from Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) Control Module: No Sub Type Information DTC U0415:00 is set when a module receives invalid network data from another module with a faulted input. RETRIEVE and REPAIR all non-network DTCs in the other modules on the network. REFER to MULTIFUNCTION ELECTRONIC MODULES .
U3000:41 Control Module: General Checksum Failure INSTALL a new HCM. REFER to HEADLAMP CONTROL MODULE (HCM) . CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test.

DTC Description Action
B11C7:15 High Beam Sensor: Circuit Short To Battery or Open If the automatic high beam feature is inoperative, GO to PINPOINT TEST B . If the high beams are on continuously, GO to PINPOINT TEST F .
B11C7:46 High Beam Sensor: Calibration/Parameter Memory Failure CARRY OUT the Programmable Module Installation (PMI) procedure for the Headlamp Control Module 2 (HCM-2). REFER to MODULE CONFIGURATION . CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test. If DTC B11C7:46 is retrieved again, INSTALL a new HCM-2. REFER to HEADLAMP CONTROL MODULE 2 (HCM-2) . TEST the system for normal operation.
B11C7:97 High Beam Sensor: Component or System Operation Obstructed or Blocked GO to PINPOINT TEST H .
B11C8:11 Auto High Beam Controller Output: Circuit Short To Ground GO to PINPOINT TEST B .
U1000:11 Solid State Driver Protection Activated - Driver Disabled: Circuit Short To Ground GO to PINPOINT TEST B .
U1000:49 Solid State Driver Protection Activated - Driver Disabled: Internal Electronic Failure ADDRESS all other DTCs first. If no other DTCs are present, INSTALL a new HCM-2. REFER to HEADLAMP CONTROL MODULE 2 (HCM-2) . TEST the system for normal operation.
U201A:54 Control Module Main Calibration Data: Missing Calibration CARRY OUT the PMI procedure for the HCM-2. REFER to MODULE CONFIGURATION . CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test. If DTC U201A:54 is retrieved again, INSTALL a new HCM-2. REFER to HEADLAMP CONTROL MODULE 2 (HCM-2) . TEST the system for normal operation.
U2100:00 Initial Configuration Not Complete: No Sub Type Information CARRY OUT the PMI procedure for the HCM-2. REFER to MODULE CONFIGURATION . CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test. If DTC U2100:00 is retrieved again, INSTALL a new HCM-2. REFER to HEADLAMP CONTROL MODULE 2 (HCM-2) . TEST the system for normal operation.
U3000:11 Control Module: Circuit Short To Ground GO to PINPOINT TEST B .
U3000:42 Control Module: General Memory Failure INSTALL a new HCM-2. REFER to HEADLAMP CONTROL MODULE 2 (HCM-2) . TEST the system for normal operation.
U3000:93 Control Module: No Operation INSTALL a new HCM-2. REFER to HEADLAMP CONTROL MODULE 2 (HCM-2) . TEST the system for normal operation.
U3000:96 Control Module: Component Internal Failure INSTALL a new HCM-2. REFER to HEADLAMP CONTROL MODULE 2 (HCM-2) . TEST the system for normal operation.

C1105 Traction Control Disable Lamp Circuit Short to Battery GO to PINPOINT TEST M .
All other DTCs - REFER to VEHICLE DYNAMIC SYSTEMS .

P1571:12 Brake Switch: Circuit Short To Battery GO to PINPOINT TEST M .

P1910 Reverse Lamp Control Circuit/Open If the reversing lamps are inoperative, GO to PINPOINT TEST X . If the reversing lamps are always on, GO to PINPOINT TEST Y .
All other DTCs - REFER to the Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Chart in MULTIFUNCTION ELECTRONIC MODULES .
