Anti-Afterburn Valve

Disconnect air supply hose at anti-afterburn valve and plug hose. Connect vacuum gauge to air pump inlet. Start engine and read vacuum gauge. Reading should be zero. Rapidly open and close throttle, vacuum should rise rapidly and decline slowly. If valve malfunctions, replace valve.
