1975-76 Models (Retard)
- Connect timing light to trailing (lower) spark plug on front rotor housing. Connect jumper wires to primary lead wire terminals. See Fig 1.
- Start engine and check retard timing. If timing is incorrect, loosen external adjusting lever set screw. Move lever until correct specification is obtained and tighten set screw.
