Overdrive Switch

Unplug overdrive switch connector (located on rear of transmission). Connect ohmmeter to switch terminals. Place gearshift lever in 4th gear. Continuity should exist (switch is on). Place gearshift lever in 5th gear. No continuity should exist (switch is off). If switch does test as indicated, it must be replaced.
