- Disconnect vacuum switch and connect an ohmmeter to terminals "A" and "B". Start and run engine at idle.
- Increase engine speed to 3000 RPM and keep throttle lever in this position for 2-3 seconds. Quickly release throttle and check continuity between terminals. Continuity should exist for 3-25 seconds.
