Air Induction System: Description

This pumpless air induction system injects atmospheric air into the exhaust system to reduce HC emissions. Basic system components consist of a reed valve assembly, catalytic converter and connecting hoses and pipes.

Additional system controls are used on each different model. Vehicles use an Air Control Valve operated by the Control Unit to help govern the flow of air.
