Spark Delay Valve

  1. Remove spark delay valve. Using specified length of vacuum hose, connect hand-operated vacuum pump (with gauge) to inlet side of valve. See Spark Delay Valve Specification Table.
  2. Place thumb over other end of delay valve and apply over 19.7 in. Hg. Release thumb and measure time required for vacuum to decrease from 15.8 in. Hg to 3.9 in. Hg.
