A/T Models Only

NOTE: Solenoid is mounted to inner fender well, near firewall, on driver's side of vehicle.
  1. Disconnect vacuum line from ACV solenoid-to-vacuum delay valve, at delay valve. Disconnect other solenoid vacuum line, at solenoid valve. Detach electrical connectors from solenoid valve.
  2. Blow into vacuum hose leading to solenoid valve that was disconnected from delay valve. Air should pass through solenoid valve and out exposed port of solenoid valve.
  3. Connect battery voltage to solenoid terminals (negative terminal is closest to exposed solenoid port) and blow into hose again. Air should exhaust from solenoid air filter.
