Throttle Positioner Servo Diaphragm
- Connect tachometer to engine. Bring engine to normal operating temperature. Stop engine. Detach 3-way solenoid-to-servo diaphragm vacuum hose from servo diaphragm.
- Connect intake manifold vacuum hose or hand operated vacuum pump, directly to servo diaphragm. Start engine, run at 2000 RPM, then release throttle.
- For GLC models, engine speed should be within 1100-1300 RPM. If engine speed is not within specifications, turn adjusting screw to obtain specified RPM. Replace servo diaphragm if correct RPM can not be obtained.
NOTE:
Grounding Black/White terminal by mistake will blow ignition system fuse.
