Throttle Positioner Solenoid Valve (3-Way Solenoid Valve)

1. Disconnect vacuum hose from 3-way solenoid-to-servo diaphragm at servo diaphragm. Disconnect vacuum hose from 3-way solenoid, to intake manifold at solenoid.
2. Blow air through servo diaphragm hose; air should exhaust from intake manifold port of solenoid.
3. Disconnect electrical connector from solenoid valve. Apply 12V to 1 terminal of solenoid and ground other using jumper wire.
4. Blow air through servo diaphragm hose; air should exhaust from air filter. Replace solenoid valve if it does not respond as outlined. See Fig 1 .
