System Check

  1. Warm engine to operating temperature and run at idle. Turn A/C on, and verify that servo diaphragm stem is raised.
  2. The servo diaphragm is activated when A/C is on and engine speed is 1300 RPM.
  3. Turn A/C off. Turn steering wheel all the way to the right or left, and verify that servo diaphragm stem is raised. If system does not respond as described, check 3-way solenoid valves, servo diaphragm and ECU signal.
