No. 2 ACV (Federal Only)

Run engine at normal operating temperature. Remove air cleaner and element. Set engine speed to 1500 RPM. Place a piece of paper over the No. 2 ACV inlet port and verify that no air is being drawn in.
CAUTION: Grounding Black/White terminal will blow ignition system fuse.
Ground the Green/Blue wire terminal of 3-way solenoid valve with a jumper wire. Verify that air is being drawn into No. 2 inlet port of valve. See Fig 1 .

Fig 1: Testing No. 2 Air Control Valve Grounding Black/White terminal instead of Green/Blue terminal will cause ignition system fuse to blow.
