EGR Solenoid Valve

  1. The EGR solenoid valve is located on the firewall (behind carburetor). Remove rubber plug from port "B" and disconnect vacuum hose leading to port "A". See Fig 1 . Blow through hose leading to port "A". Verify that air is expelled from port "B".

  2. Disconnect vacuum hose from port "C". Unplug electrical connector, apply battery voltage to Yellow/Black terminal and ground Yellow/Green terminal. Blow air through port "A": Air should be expelled through port "C".
