Air Conditioner (A/C) Solenoid Valve

Ensure all accessories are off and connect a tachometer. Bring engine to normal operating temperature and run at idle. Disconnect A/C solenoid valve connector located on the side of the valve. Apply battery power to the solenoid. Engine speed should be at 1250-1350 RPM (M/T) and 1450-1550 RPM (A/T). If engine speed is not within specifications, adjust by turning A/C solenoid adjusting screw.
