Brake Switch

  1. Disconnect wiring harness from switch. Using an ohmmeter, check continuity between switch terminals. Continuity should be indicated when brake pedal is depressed.
  2. No continuity should exist when pedal is released. If readings are incorrect, adjust brake switch by turning it. If readings are still incorrect, replace switch.
