Code 1 (Ignition Pulse)

  1. Check that negative terminal of ignition coil is properly connected. If not, properly connect terminal. With ignition coil terminal properly connected, check that "1M" terminal voltage at ECU is between 12-13 volts.
  2. If voltage is correct, replace faulty ECU. If voltage is incorrect, check for open or short circuit in wiring harness from ignition coil to terminal "1M" of ECU connector.
