- Disconnect hose from pressure switch and connect Pressure Tester (49 H080 740) to switch. Apply 10-11 psi (.7-.8 kg/cm2 ). Connect ohmmeter between switch terminal and ground. Reading should be below 1.5 volts with air applied. With less than 10-11 psi (.7-.8 kg/cm2 ) applied, reading must be about 12 volts.
- To check switch resistance, remove switch. Connect pressure tester to switch and apply compressed air. Continuity between terminals should be indicated when more than 10-11 psi (.7-.8 kg/cm2 ) is applied. No continuity should exist at any other time.
