Test Equipment & Hook-Up
- Use Digital Code Tester (49 B018 9A0 ) to trouble shoot and detect fault(s) in sensors, wiring, or connections. Tester may also be used to locate short circuits between each sensor/control circuit. A fault is indicated by a code number and buzzer.
- A Green light on tester indicates operation of oxygen sensor. A lean air/fuel mixture is indicated when light is off. A rich air/fuel mixture is indicated when light is on. Some tests require the use of a volt/ohmmeter.
