Slow Fuel Cut System

  1. Bring engine to normal operating temperature and run at idle. Disconnect the neutral switch connector. Connect a voltmeter to the Light Green wire side of check terminal, located on the right fender. See Fig 1 .

  2. Connect a tachometer. While monitoring the voltmeter and tachometer, accelerate engine to 3000 RPM and decelerate rapidly. The reading during deceleration should be 12 volts above 2000 RPM, and 1.5 volts or less below 2000 RPM.
