Idle-Up System: Description
Accessories powered by the engine can cause a drop in the engine RPM. The idle-up systems are used on those models with engine powered accessories that decrease engine RPM. To maintain proper engine performance, the idle-up system increases the engine RPM to the required specifications.
Vehicles with air conditioning (A/C) use the idle-up system consisting of a three way solenoid valve, servo diaphragm, connecting hoses and electrical components.
