Delay Valve

  1. Disconnect vacuum delay valve. Connect approximately 3.5 ft. of vacuum tube to the vacuum pump tester. Completely shut the other side of the vacuum delay valve with your thumb.
  2. Apply a vacuum of over 19.7 in. Hg by using the vacuum pump tester. Release your thumb from vacuum delay valve and check time required for vacuum reading to decrease to 3.9 in. Hg from 15.7 in. Hg in approximately 13 seconds.
