Slow Fuel-Cut System: B2200

  1. Bring engine to normal operating temperature and run at idle. Disconnect the neutral switch connector. Connect a voltmeter to the Light Green terminal of carburetor connector. See Fig 1 .

  2. Increase engine speed to 3000 RPM. Lift idle switch arm. When engine speed is above 2,500 RPM there should be approximately 12 volts. When engine speed is below 2,500 RPM there should be less than 1.5 volts. If not as indicated, check 2D terminal of emission control unit and slow fuel cut solenoid valve.
