Slow Fuel-Cut System

  1. Connect a voltmeter to terminal "F" (Light Green wire) of carburetor connector. See Fig 1 . Increase engine speed to 3000 RPM. Lift idle switch arm. See Fig 2 .
  2. With engine speed greater than 2500 RPM, voltmeter should read 12 volts. With engine speed less than 2500 RPM, voltmeter should read less than 1.5 volt. If voltmeter readings are not as specified, check ECU connector terminal 2D and slow fuel-cut solenoid valve.
