AIS Solenoid Valves (B2600)

  1. Remove AIS solenoid. See Fig 1 . Connect a vacuum hose to valve. See Fig 2 . Blow air through valve from hose B and check that air comes out of air filter. Apply battery power and ground to solenoid valve with jumper wires.
  2. Blow air through solenoid valve from hose B and check that air comes out of port A. If AIS solenoid valve does not operate properly, replace it with a new one.
