Coolant Thermo Valve (Auto. Trans.)

  1. Remove coolant thermo valve from engine. Immerse coolant thermo valve in water.
  2. Heat water gradually and observe the temperature. Below approximately 154°F (68°C), air should pass from middle vacuum line to bottom vacuum line. Above approximately 154°F (68°C), air should pass from middle vacuum line to top vacuum line.
