Control Unit: Notes
- A Digital Code Checker (49 G018 9A0) must be used to retrieve trouble codes. Warm engine to normal operating temperature. Connect digital code checker alligator clip to battery ground.
- Connect digital code checker to check connector. See Fig 1 . Check for code number identification. If a code number is indicated, check appropriate CODE ILLUMINATION chart for cause of problem.
NOTE:
The digital code checker buzzer will sound for approximately 3 seconds after the ignition is turned on.
