Fuel Pressure Regulator: Turbo
- Disconnect negative battery cable. Disconnect fuel pump connector located under rear floor mat. Reconnect negative battery cable. Start and run engine a few seconds in order to bleed off fuel pressure. Stop engine and disconnect negative battery cable.
- Reconnect fuel pump connector. Disconnect the test cover bolt and attach Multipressure Tester (49 9200 750). See Fig 1
. Reconnect negative battery cable and start engine.

- Connect a jumper wire between pressure regulator solenoid valve terminal "LO" of Orange connector and ground. See Fig 2
. Check fuel pressure at idle. Pressure should be about 37 psi (2.6 kg/cm2
).

- Remove Jumper wire and observe fuel pressure. Pressure should be about 28 psi (2 kg/cm2
). If not, replace pressure regulator.
