Idle Switch

  1. Disconnect throttle sensor connector. Connect an ohmmeter between terminals C and D. With a .02" (.5 mm) feeler gauge between throttle stop and throttle lever, resistance should be zero ohms. See Fig 1 .
  2. With a .028" (.7 mm) feeler gauge between throttle stop and throttle lever, resistance should be infinite. If not within specifications, adjust throttle sensor.
