TICS Solenoid
- Connect voltmeter between solenoid valve Blue/Red wire and ground. See Fig 1
. Start engine and note voltage.

- With engine RPM less than 4000, voltage should be less than 2 volts. With engine RPM greater than 4000, voltage should be approximately 12 volts.
- Disconnect vacuum hose from solenoid. Blow through port B. Ensure exhaust through air filter.
- Disconnect solenoid connector. Apply 12 volts to one solenoid terminal and ground the other. Blow through port B. See Fig 2
. Ensure air exhaust through port A.
